Lindsay Jimison
Owner

I have been planning for 13+ years throughout the Tampa Bay. My background in events started in college where an internship let to the possibility of making event planning a career. After graduating from the University of South Florida in 2007 with a degree in Public Relations, I got my first job at a large event facility where I produced large scale events and weddings. I quickly discovered weddings were my passion. In 2017, I founded Burlap to Lace. My love for weddings spread and our team quickly grew. We have a reputation of having perfected the art of planning and look forward to creating an unforgettable wedding for you. Making memories with the ones you love is what makes life so special. I am extremely privileged to be a part of this amazing company Burlap to Lace. Here I work as a lead planner, where I make our brides wedding day into a day they will remember and cherish always. It is my goal to make their day as seamless as possible so that the focus is completely on the bride and the family. I take great pride in my level of detail and organization that I bring to this team each and every day.
I was born on Long Island, New York and have lived in Florida for almost 20 years. I met my amazing husband 19 years ago, and we have been married since 2007. Since then I had spent over 15 years in retail management where I learned to balance multiple tasks with complete follow through. I was chosen to lead the planning of corporate meetings, events, and even assisted in hosting new store openings. In 2017 I decided to shift careers to allow me to spend more time with our two energetic boys and a beautiful baby girl.

I truly love and have always been drawn to weddings & events! I have over 14 years of event experience starting with corporate events then ranging from art festivals to regattas to pet expos to weddings and beyond! You name it, I've probably planned it! I genuinely love being a part of a couple's big day and helping out however I can! 6 years ago, I had a beautiful destination wedding and was married to my husband J.T. on the beach at sunset. I have 2 adorable daughters: Kaia age 3 and Cali age 5.
